National Panel of Experts

Welcome!

To Wealth Creation for Zambia, public participation.

What is a Pilot?

A pilot is the implementation of a concept or project on a small scale. Implementing the concept on a small scale allows us to test whether the objectives of wealth creation can be verified. If proven true through this pilot then this will allow for the practical implementation of a wider national dissemination of the service that will be advanced based on the results of the pilot.

What is Wealth Creation?

To learn this first watch the 5 Episodes that have been created to explain what wealth creation is. You may also purchase the book which explains the approach in great technical detail.

What are the main objectives of wealth creation for Zambia?

Basically the main objective of wealth creation for Zambia is to enhance the operating environment for businesses and banks thereby enabling the Zambian economy to obtain:

  • Elimination of poverty
  • Elimination of Unemployment
  • Higher salaries and wages
  • Increases in business profitability, efficiency, output and productivity
  • Lower cost of borrowing for businesses and households
  • Lower prices
  • Lower operating costs
  • Lower cost of living
  • Improved capacity to care for the environment and conservation

If you agree with these objectives and the pilot to test whether wealth creation can achieve these objectives you are good to go, and can apply to be a member of the Panel of Experts.

Why should a Panel of Experts first be Created & a Petition?

Once you have watched the 5 Episode that explain wealth creation this is enough to ensure you are well on your way to becoming an expert on the subject who can contribute to the Panel. Buying and reading the book will give you an added advantage,

The approach being used is to first put together a Panel of Experts in order to gain buy in on wealth creation and the  pilot from the public since they are the ultimate end users. The end users need to understand it and the need for it first otherwise it will be akin to working on something nobody asked for, which is not procedurally prudent.

For a pilot such as this to be implemented successfully it will inevitably require the participation of the Bank of Zambia (BoZ) and Ministry of Finance. Consequently there is first a need to generate public interest to show there is public support for the pilot via a Panel of Experts/petition before it is offered to the Bank of Zambia and Ministry of Finance as a means to soliciting their participation and support – wealth creation quite simply cannot be implemented without these institutions. This is why the Panel of Experts is being put together using a petition.

This approach is both professional and prudent because wealth creation works in a counter-intuitive manner most people are not accustomed to. For example, the appreciation of currency or lower prices for goods and services as money supply increases confuses many traditional thinkers and stops them in their tracks. They are unable to escape the notion of very high levels of inflation and fail to process this as it is counter-intuitive for them and not the way they have been taught to think, consequently forcing them to dismiss the concept without fully appreciating how it works. Therefore, a careful change in mindset is necessary. As a new product it will need collaboration and support from diverse sectors if the pilot is to be implemented successfully.

The Commissioning of a Pilot for Wealth Creation

A petition will first be used to solicit support from the public. It is anticipated that the pilot will then consist of a limited working model and framework implemented through private and public sector collaboration in a small section of the economy to prove and test the benefits of wealth creation and obtain results that demonstrate the way can be paved for wider implementation into the national economy of the service through public and private collaboration in the banking and financial services sector.

National Panel of Experts

Being part of the National Panel of Experts simply means any profession you are an expert in i.e. have specialized in e.g. Accounting, teaching, finance, law, medicine, consultancy etc where you may be able to identify the benefits of wealth creation. You will receive the results of the pilot when concluded, ongoing information on wealth creation, know what its objectives are and you will have access to ongoing materials such as videos, articles etc that aid in understanding what wealth creation is. There are no other obligations.

A broad range of experts in various fields will first be introduced to wealth creation and how it works, its benefits and expectations. Based on this dissemination and introduction to wealth creation they will then be asked to give their consensus through the survey on whether or not they believe wealth creation is worthy of a pilot that will test its outcomes. Having acquired buy in from the Panel of Experts through a survey/petition for the implementation of a pilot, a public mandate is now gained and government including BOZ and the Ministry of Finance can then be engaged through the oversight of an Advisory Board to partner in the facilitation of the pilot in order to later ensure a wider implementation of the financial system and dissemination of the results of the pilot. However, before this the first prudent step being taken is to get public buy in via a petition that culminates in Panel of Experts. This makes sense because the main collaborators needed are public institutions, it is therefore sensible to first build a mandate generated through public interest such as a Panel of Experts raised via petition.

You are invited to participate in the survey/petition for the wealth creation pilot and to apply to become a member of the Panel of Experts in your field who may be asked from time to time to participate in the implementation of wealth creation.
